There have been several articles flying around the internet about the Facebook group petitioning the collaboration of legendary actress Meryl Streep and Lady Gaga. Honestly, I thought this idea is quite insane, and a slight malfunction in this vehicle can cause much damage to Meryl’s career. This is quite…popular, but risky.

If this somehow really happens, Streep should definitely reprise her role as actress Madeline Ashton in Robert Zemeckis’ 1992 dark comedy Death Becomes Her. Gaga would obviously become Lisle von Rhoman (Isabella Rossellini, semi-pictured), because she’s super sultry and the bearer of magical potions. You cannot tell me the following trailer isn’t a Lady Gaga video waiting to sneak up on/make out with you in a ladies’ prison.
Sounds tempting, but no. Please, no Gaga and Meryl.

No no no please nooo!! Meryl is my favorite actress, I seriously hope she doesnt do this! First of all I usually hate sequels, and second of all even if it might be popular Meryl Streep should not be looking after popularity, she’s a legend and needs to choose her work very wisely.
